Change is Changing
by Michael Reagan

A funny thing happened on his way to the White House: that old, left-wing community organizer Barack Obama has suddenly veered toward the center, and his incoming administration is looking more and more like the Daley Machine in Chicago than Hugo Chavez's administration down in Venezuela.

It seems that reality has set in, instructing the soon-to-be president-elect (he won't be that until the presidential electors gather and vote for him next month) that it's easier to promise change then it is to change the way things are traditionally done in a democracy.

Watching him announce key appointments to cabinet and sub-cabinet posts makes one think that this is Bill Clinton redux. Mr. Obama has dug deep into the 1990s and resurrected much of the Clinton cast of characters, even to naming Hillary Clinton to be secretary of state.

That appointment, some have suggested, is Obama's way of emulating Lyndon Johnson. When LBJ named an old foe to a post in his administration, he explained that it was better to have the camel inside the tent urinating out, than outside the tent urinating in.

None of this satisfies the radical left that went bonkers trying to elect the man they thought would turn the White House into a new Kremlin and name all of them commissars of the new Socialist Republic of America.

Barack Obama, ardent disciple of the late Saul Alinsky, seems to have forgotten the iron-clad left-wing dictate -- "no enemies to the left." With every Clintonite or Wall Streeter appointment he makes a new enemy on the left.

What the Alinsky/Ayers crowd doesn't seem to understand is that Barack Obama's only acquaintanceship with government in action was his close relationship with Chicago's Daley machine, where its hallmark -- aside from its rampant corruption -- was devotion to pragmatism. If it works, do it; if it doesn't, don't.

Everything Mr. Obama has done in recent weeks since winning the election has been an exercise in pragmatism -- gone is all the heated rhetoric about change and reform. Everything is now measured by only one standard -- it must above all be practical.

What his disappointed leftist allies don't grasp is that many of those who voted for him thought he had a conservative message for them. Now with his appointments such as keeping Robert Gates at the Defense Department and naming Paul Volcker as a top economic advisor, he's delivering on what the voters saw as his conservative promises.

Unlike Bill Clinton, he's moving to the center before he takes office, and not two years afterwards as Clinton did. During the campaign I prayed he was lying when he unveiled his platform and promises of what he'd do as president.

I was hoping he lied about taxes. I was hoping he lied about ending the war in Iraq in 16 months. I was hoping he lied about all of those nutty left-wing programs he was promising.

It looks as if my prayers were answered.

I expect that he'll try to mollify his now-dejected left-wing supporters by tossing them a few bones. He'll push for the horrendous "Freedom of Choice" bill that would enshrine abortion as the supreme law of the land, overturning all restrictions on the grisly procedure previously enacted by the states; and trying to gag conservative talk radio hosts, for example.

I'm sure he knows that those attempts might be empty gestures if his party falls short of the 60 votes in the Senate they need to shut off debate on such measures, thereby allowing the Republican minority to use the filibusters to kill such measures so dear to the hearts of the so-called progressives.

What's happening is Obama's discovery that there is a big difference between running for president and being president. He is now up to date, up to speed, and getting all the information George Bush is getting -- and he having to make decisions based on that information.

As a result he and George Bush are now on the same wavelength. It's amazing what a little dose of reality will do to a man who dreamt dreams before he encountered the inescapable facts of life.

Welcome to Washington, Barack Obama.

"As a result he and George Bush are now on the same wavelength. It's amazing what a little dose of reality will do to a man who dreamt dreams before he encountered the inescapable facts of life."

And what "facts of life" are those?

Neither man is anywhere near reality, as they both fail to fathom the hostile corporate takeover of our government--or maybe they do!  Maybe they are both complicit in the treason, which has delivered the greatest nation on earth to enslavement by the central bankers of the Rothschild bank.

As for "wavelengths," both men were always on the same page, insofar as they both intended to deliver America to the massive Brown Tide from Mexico, which has inundated our shores.

"The facts of life"--as it were--are that the American people remain in bondage to the machinations of the international bankers, who voted themselves a massive bailout--at the people's expense.

These vested interests have vied for primacy over our government since the earliest days of our republic, as noted by none other than Thomas Jefferson:

"I hope we shall crush in its birth the aristocracy
of our moneyed corporations, which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country."

Thomas Jefferson 1812

It was the great president Andrew Jackson who broke the stranglehold of these central bankers over the financial independence of the American people.  He foresaw the cataclysmic impact of these central bankers on the national life, when he made this observation for posterity:

“Unless you become more watchful in your States and check this spirit of monopoly and thirst for exclusive privileges, you will in the end find that the most important powers of Government have been given or bartered away, and the control of your dearest interests have been passed into the hands of these 'corporations,' and invading beggars demanding service and special privileges not available to long time American Citizens."

The "invading beggars," are of course the "guest workers," who infest both hemispheres of the planet, to serve as the great leveler of civilizations, as they destroy the middle class of industrialized nations, at the manipulative hand of the corporations.  These corporations call for free trade, open borders, unlimited immigration, and the great fire sale of our republic to the fiction that America belongs to the United Nations, and therefore we must pledge allegiance--as good "corporate citizens," to that "august" body.

The facts of life, are that we have a sitting president who has served as a corporate shill, trampled on the Constitution, and allowed the Mexican occupation army to annex American territory, during a time of war for our national survival.

It is also a fact that Congress has the lowest approval rating in history, at nine percent.  That reputation and infamy is well-deserved.

The way things are done in Washington, has always been predicated on these financiers being able to manipulate the will of the American people  by controlling the reins of power.

It is as Jon Christian Ryter has asserted, that these degenerate "public servants" have historically been bought like so much penny candy.  The same holds true today.

The worst fear of General Douglas MacArthur, has come to fruition--that nefarious forces would destroy us from within.

"I am concerned for the security of our great Nation; not so much because of any threat from without, but because of the insidious forces working from within."
Douglas MacArthur

The American people are held hostage not only financially, but ideologically to the anti-American influence of David Rockefeller's Council on Foreign Relations.

We are caught in a pincer movement of a hostile corporate takeover, coupled with the occupation and annexation of American territory by the so-called "guest worker," who remains the unwitting corporate shock troop.

Now, the American people are witness to an illegal alien--posing as an agent of change.

He is ready to assume the mantle of leadership for an alien nation of dumbed down proles, who are so anxious for change, that they do not factor in the question of a spurious document which has been provided by the president-elect, to prove his alleged citizenship.

Obama cannot or will not prove conclusively that he is legally qualified to lead our country, as delineated by the Constitution.  This simple requirement must be met if our Constitution is to NOT be shredded,  but here too, perhaps both unworthy stewards for the hand of the nation are on the same page.

I am willing to countenance a glorious Obama presidency, and even call him "my president," if and only if he saves our republic from the clutches of the globalists.

Frankly, I don't think he has the wherewithal of awareness for such a gargantuan task, nor can he fire the imagination of all Americans when he adopts the same arrogant demeanor as his predecessor, by not providing a prerequisite document, which defines him as qualified to assume high office.

I think the real facts are that the American people are "up the creek, without a paddle."

We are held hostage to the potential for massive insurrection in our streets, and the fire-bombing of our cities by blacks, if the Black Moses is denied his ill-gotten prize.  Never mind the letter of the law.

The "little dose of reality," is that we are now a Mexican alien-occupied nation, with a potential illegal alien in the White House.  That alien we call our president, will loose the floodgates which keep the barbarian hordes at bay.  Those laws which are being ignored, are what protect our country, so that real Americans maintain some semblance of self-determination.

Obama calls ICE "agents of intolerance,"  What a dummy!

The "inescapable fact of life" which prevents a president from realizing his full potential, is of course the continued reality that the American people do NOT hold the purse strings to their own country, but must instead live under the bondage to usury, coming from the private corporation known as "Federal Reserve."

The Federal Reserve has not only hijacked the purse of the American people, but it has also presented itself as the legitimate government of the United States of America, when that designation belongs exclusively to the American people.  It is a "small matter" of identity theft.  The same may be said for the so-called "guest workers," who steal the identity of individual Americans, as they follow the paradigm of their criminal corporate sponsors.

Forgive me for the classroom lecture, as I often consult your writings to find out the real truth.

Mr. Reagan,  you have called  for a new conservative renaissance, whereby conservative principles will rise, Phoenix-like from the ashes of the failed 2008 election.  I like that idea, and fully support it.

That revival of the national preeminence on the world stage, will be predicated on the liberation of the American people from free trade, open borders, and the globalist agenda of the Rockefeller/Rothschild/Brzezinsky cabal.

It will mean the dissolution of the Federal Reserve, and abandonment of the supra--nationalist agenda which marries countries behind closed doors against--and in defiance of-- the will of their peoples.

It will mean the abandonment of free trade, and the restoration of America's industrial capacity for total self-sufficiency.  It will mean the abandonment of imagining that America must be dependent on foreign powers for our national survival.

No superpower is a “service economy.”

America must once again become an industrial giant with a magnificent blue water navy.  This cannot occur when a private corporation holds the purse strings to our government.

America must show other countries how to take control over their own financial destinies, by providing the model in assuming control over our own national financial destiny.

The recent "meltdown" of the banking industry, was staged and engineered as a strategy of war, to finally reduce a free people to serfdom, under the "New World Order."

It is the American people, who require a "bailout" from the chains of usury which bind them to foreign and corporate influence over that government of, by and for the people.

We the People, were not "consulted" as Dane-geld was extorted from the peasants, to bail out the banking industry with OUR money.

All of this must change, if we are to see a "shining city on the hill," through the third world slums which have become our new neighborhoods, thanks to the corporate greed for slave labor.

Those slums are the gangland turf of graffiti, drive-by shootings, and car-jacking by foreign nationals who do not belong here.

Fifty thousand Americans die at the hands of these interlopers every year.

The fatal flaw of the McCain bid for the presidency, was that the Manchurian Candidate did not fathom the annexation of America by La Raza.  He  abandoned his party base, by pandering to a special interest group, which was a lobby for a hostile foreign power, which ultimately failed him and scorned him in his hour of need.

If the Republican Party is to rise from the dead, it must deal with these core issues, and consign the "facts of life" and "business as usual," to the ash heap of history.

The entire rotten structure of our financial, industrial, and political life must be dismantled and brought back into alignment with the national interest.  It's all about who controls the power-of-the purse of a nation, and reining in the corporations.

The people do NOT rule here, Sir.

It is morning in  America, only when the people rise from their somnolence of imagining that their country belongs to the world.  We are not a safety valve for failed nations.

We are a pedigreed people of one tongue--not a zoo for flotsam of the planet.

The conscience of a conservative remains what it was when so brilliantly articulated by Barry Goldwater, who wrote:

“I believe the Council on Foreign Relations and its ancillary elitist groups are indifferent to communism. They have no ideological anchors. In their pursuit of a New World Order [World Government] they are prepared to deal without prejudice with a communist state, a socialist state, a democratic state, monarchy, oligarchy — it’s all the same to them.

“The Trilateral Commission is intended to be the vehicle for multinational consolidation of the commercial and banking interests by seizing control of the political government of the United States. The Trilateral Commission represents a skillful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power political, monetary, intellectual and ecclesiastical. What the Trilateral Commission intends is to create a worldwide economic power superior to the political governments of the nation states involved. As managers and creators of the  system, they will rule the future.”

-U.S. Senator Barry Goldwater in his l964 book: With No Apologies
